The Museum of Modern Art has a show up right now called Tangled Alphabets—Latin American artists Léon Ferrari and Mira Schendel who used the visuality of language as more than the vehicle for communication but as the thing to be shaped and molded itself. If you know Peter Lang & co, then you know Pictures in a Row is a more than attentive to the various font possibilities. In other words, if you are attached to Picrow, then you better choose your font carefully. So then, might we all agree that language itself is art.
