Picrow Director Marc Silver is set to premiere his latest documentary, 3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets, in theaters on June 26th. The film takes a closer look at the 2012 shooting death of Jordan Davis, a young black teenager, and the trial of his killer Michael Dunn, a white middle-aged male. The filmmaker intercuts powerful footage from the trial of Dunn with moments shared between Jordan’s parents, Ron and Lucy.
Silver (Who is Dayani Cristal?) premiered the film at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, where HBO picked up the U.S. television rights. It will air in the fall following the theatrical run.
